We have been getting a lot of requests from members asking us to do a local PMPE. We have given a lot of thoughts about it and have formulated a program that incorporates both Stages 1 and 2 of the PMPE (PhotoMalaysia PhotoSafari Experience) into 5 days and 4 night’s program which includes both theory and hands-on practical shooting workshop. We will be restructuring and rewriting our presentations to suit this new methodology of imparting and training beginners and amateurs in photography.
The program will include a short theory part during the evenings or afternoons where the lighting conditions are not great for shooting followed by “theme photography assignments” that illustrated the points given during the theory sessions. This will then be followed by a photo sharing session to fine tune the work done by the participants.
We intend to hold this PMPE workshop at Seri Malaysia Hotel, Marang, Trengganu. We have in our earlier PhotoMalaysia outing recce this place before and have found that this place is very suitable for holding our PMPE workshop.
Pricing:
The price of the 5days/4nights photography workshop is RM1,600 per person on a twin sharing basis. For those who want single room, the single room supplement is RM240.00 for the 4 nights.
This price includes:-
- The PMPE Photography workshop Stages 1 and 2
- Seminar room
- Hotel rooms on a twin sharing basis
- All meals stated including breakfast, lunch, dinner and teas.
- Transportation, since we are trying to keep the cost as low as possible, we would like to have volunteers to drive from KL to Marang, Trengganu on a car pool basis. For those who drive, we will offer a lump sum of RM500 per car inclusive of petrol, toll charges etc.
- For those who want to come to Seri Malaysia, Marang on their own, there is a discount of RM125.00
- For those who have earlier completed PMPE Stage 1 workshop and wants to come for the Stage 2 shooting, you will get a discount of RM500.00
