Leica Flagship Store in Malaysia- Official Launching on 28th July 2011.

Leica – a symbol of excellence, heritage, and unparalleled quality to photographers worldwide – has set another new international benchmark with the opening of its latest flagship and Global Store in Malaysia at The Avenue K lifestyle mall located directly across the PETRONAS Twin Towers along Jalan Ampang, Kuala Lumpur.
Leica has 52 Stores and Boutiques in the world. It includes key locations such as Paris, London, Shanghai, Beijing, Macao, Rome, Taipei, Singapore, Seoul, Moscow, Tokyo, Hong Kong, NYC, Berlin, and now in Kuala Lumpur – the latest of the brand’s comprehensive expansion into increasingly creative Asia markets, especially with so many young and talented photographers in the region.
The store’s opening ceremony is graced by HE Dr Guenter Gruber, German Ambassador to Malaysia with over 130 invited guests representing foreign dignitaries, customers and friends of Leica. Among others, Mr Sunil Kaul, Managing Director of Leica Camera Asia Pacific and Mr Sim Hai Yeun, General Manager of The Avenue K.
The Leica Store Malaysia with a floor area of 1,500 sq. ft. is the largest in the world and the first of its kind among its 52 stores worldwide. This Global Store is the first variant of the store’s original design by Tadashi Takeshige where the store space is created to enable Leica Camera together with the people can propose a new lifestyle in a relaxing environment and can feel a new way of photography along with Leica Camera’s history and development.
