Chan Joo Li is one of the pioneers in e-business in Malaysia. She has made a name for herself internationally as a renowned doll couture designer. What started off as a hobby soon turned into a lifetime business pursuit. Her other interest lies with miniature clay craft which she calls “Whimsical Clay”.
Joo Li has graced the pages of local newspapers like The Star, Utusan Malaysia, magazines like Her World, Women’s Weekly and lately in Melbourne’s Carft Book “Handmade in Melbourne.”
Doll photography is her specialty. This genre of photography has brought her to many foreign lands, and Siem Reap, Cambodia is just one of those destinations. She says this Photo Safari Photograpy Experience has been very inspiring. She was able to interact with local folks in Cambodia, and she feels she now understands their culture and customs better. The children, she said were delightful and loveable. This is a photo trip not to be missed by photographers who want to take their photography up a notch.

A cute Khmer little girl with green eyed Ginger. The girl is about two years old and is fascinated by the Blythe Doll

Ginger woke up very early in the morning to capture sunrise at the Angkor Wat. Here she poses in front of Angkor Wat's reflecting pool. She says " I am so sleepy and can hardly keep my eyes open." And she was probably speaking for everyone else too, who got out of bed at 4.30am just to be ready to shoot the sunrise at Angkor Wat
