Pentax is releasing another limited edition of Silver K-5. The total production is only 1,500 units world wide. They are packaging this camera body with the Pentax DA 40mm f2.8 lens for a RRP of US 1,599.95. I thought that this camera was due for an upgrade. The other competitors like Olympus, Sony, Canon , Nikon etc have already announced their release of new models within the last couple of months. Well, you can never predict the strategy of Pentax/Ricoh .
DENVER, CO March 1, 2012… PENTAX RICOH IMAGING AMERICAS CORPORATION is pleased to announce the launch of the PENTAX K-5 Silver Special Edition.
