This map shows roughly our trekking route to Manang. Last year we trekked around Nayapul – Gorepani – Poon Hill and Grandruk. The distance of this trek was about 40km.

We won’t be posting any articles or news from 14th to 30th March 2012. We will be on a photosafari and trekking in Nepal. This year we will be trekking from Besi Sahar to Manang and back. An estimated distance of about 150km. March is a good time of the year to trek in the Himalayan. The weather is dry, cool and the skies are clear.  The rainy season starts in late May to September and the trek gets muddy and slippery. The low rain clouds usually cover the magnificent views of the snow capped mountains.
