When shooting sunrises and sunsets, your aim should be to create a picture, not just a snapshot of the sky. You need to think and plan a little bit more than just a point and shoot approach, because the beauty of sunsets does not lie in the sun or the dramatic sky alone.
“Feel the light – on the edge of darkness”, there have been requests on how to take such photos. I have taken some time off to write my experience and thoughts on this subject. Of course I do not expect everyone to agree with what I have written. These are thoughts and methologies based on my personal experiences accumulated over the years.
