How to get there?

There is a direct flight from Kuala Lumpur to Islamabad. Last year we used Thai Airways from Kuala Lumpur to Islamabad. We stayed a night at Bangkok on the way to Islamabad.

Difficulty of the trip

The difficulty is easy to moderate. There are few places of visit which needs some short walks.

Pakistan Visa

You will need to apply for the Pakistan Visa online. We will provide you with the necessary information. Presently, the Pakistan Visa fees are free.

Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS)

Most of the time we will be travelling below 3,000 metres (below the altitude where AMS may occur). There is only one time where we will be travelling to Khunjerab Pass (4,600M). However, we will be only spending a couple of hours there.  You may take “Diamox” to prevent it.
