Photosafari organised a trip to Pahalgam in Oct 2012. When we were there it was raining. The town is relatively small and one can cover the whole town on foot. However, the scenes are nicer if you take a van ride up to the surrounding mountains to Betaab Valley. Betaab Valley is about 15km from Pahalgam. This is one of the must visit places when you visit Kashmir.
