Dai Minh Lake, Dalat City, Vietnam

The Dai Minh Lake is about 12 miles southeast of Dalat City. The Lake was named after Don Duong. The lake was formed when the hydroelectric dam was built. One can see parts of dead tree projecting from the water surface. Local fishermen usually go out to fish in the early hours of the morning and bringing their catch to the market by 7am.

The best time to photograph the activities in the lake is around 5.30am when the early morning mist still hangs in the air. The mist is usually gone by the time the sun rises.
