Cycling adventure trip to Tanjung Sepat, Selangor

Tg Sepat is a small and vibrant fishing village that is about 1.5 hours drive from Kuala Lumpur. The laid-back atmosphere is a popular weekend getaway for Klang valley city folks. The seafood here is fresh.

I went on a weekend cycling trip to this place. There are many homestays here. I stayed at Gano Farm that is famous for its mushroom cultivation. The rooms here were comfortable with air-conditioning and an attached toilet. The cost per night was 108 rm which is quite reasonable. There were cheaper alternatives. The best source is to use Google Maps.

It was rainy season when I was there. It rained the evening and morning on the day after. I could only manage to cycle around some parts of the town.

The food here not as good as some other similar fishing villages in Malaysia. The prices were similar to KL city prices. It is a bit pricey.

I managed to capture some of the scenes here in-between the rain.

Overall, this is a good place to explore. It’s a small town that you can cycle around leisurely. You should be able to cover this town within 2 to 3 hours. You can also cycle from here to nearby towns like Morib and Bagan Lalang.
